Sign in to your online account and create your own employee extension so you can use your employee extension’s login credentials to sign in to the app. The mobile app is designed to sync with your personal employee extension.

2. Download App & Login

Download the mobile app from the Apple Store or Google Play. Then use your personal employee extension’s login credentials to sign in to your app and sync it to your employee extension.

3. Make & Receive Calls

Start making and taking business calls. You only have to sync your app with your employee extension once to have full access to your business phone system and all the features you would expect from a professional office desk phone.

1. How do I get the One40 virtual phone system app?

First, you sign in to your online One40 account and create an employee extension. Inside your employee extension, you’ll find your app’s login credentials and links to download your app from either the Apple Store or Google Play. From the One40 portal you can also send email instructions directly to yourself or any employee.

2. How do I log in to the One40 mobile app?

To log in to your app you need to first create your own employee extension and then use your employee extension’s login credentials to sign in to your mobile app. Your app is designed to sync with your personal employee extension. So for that reason, the admin-level username and password you created at signup will not work as your mobile app login.

3. How do I ensure high call quality using the mobile app?

For the best experience, we recommend using a strong wifi connection. The mobile app uses your local wifi to make and receive calls. If wifi isn’t available your app will run off your cellular data (i.e. 4G, 5G, etc) . But like all VoIP technology products, if you have a weak internet connection or a poor data signal, it can affect your call quality.

4. Is the One40 app free?

Yes. The One40 mobile app is free to customers and is included with all One40 business phone system plans.

5. Do I have to use the One40 mobile app?

No. One40 can forward calls to any phone number, or phone (even landlines and old school cell phones). In addition you can also connect a softphone or IP-phone (physical desk phone) at no additional cost.

6. How does the mobile app help?

The mobile app allows you to run your business from anywhere. It provides you with full access to your business phone system and it virtually turns your personal smartphone into your office phone with all the professional features you would expect from a physical desk phone. So whether you are in the office, in the field or on the go, you are always connected to your One40 Virtual Phone System.

7. Can everyone on my team use the mobile app?

Yes, every person who has their own employee extension can access and use the mobile app to manage their business calls. With One40, users and employee extensions are one-in-the-same.

8. Can I use the mobile app and use IP-phones?

Yes, the One40 plans allows you to connect the mobile app, a softphone and/or IP-phones to your employee extension. You can use all three devices at the same time or pick and choose which one you’d like to use at any given time.
