Step 1 – Connect / Power-On Device      

  1. Connect Provided Network Cable to port on bottom of device labeled “LAN”
  2. Connect Power cord to port on bottom of device

Step 2 – Obtain IP Address for Self-Management

  1. With the power cord connected, the Device will boot/power-up. After initializing, you should see info displayed on the LCD screen. Confirm device is powered on before continuing to next step.
  2. Press Home key.
  3. Using the navigation arrow choose “Settings” option in the LCD screen
  4. Press 4 for Status
  5. Press 2 for Network
  6. Press 1 for TCP/IP Parameters
  7. Note the value of "IPv4 Addr": _________________
    i.e. 192.168.1.201 (one-nine-two-dot-one-six-eight-dot-one-dot-two-zero-one)

Step 3 – Configure Device through Web Browser

  1. From your computer open a web browser to the IP Address noted above.
    * Make sure to use “s” in https://IP_Address from above.
    * If you do not use https, it will not load the page
    * If you observe security warning below, click to Proceed.
  2. You should now see the login screen
  3. Login as “Admin with the default password of 456
    If this password is not accepted, and your device was previously setup with another provider, you will need to perform a Factory Reset. Without the admin passcode you cannot configure your device with One40 Services.
  4. Navigate to menu Settings and then Provisioning Server
  5. Update Server Type to: https
  6. In top navigation, navigate to Settings -> Provisioning Server
  7. Update Server Type to: https
  8. Server Address: http://208.89.105.59
  9. Update field “Server User” removing anything populated in field
  10. Update field “Server Password” removing anything populated in field
  11. At bottom of screen click Save
  12. If prompted to save configuration changes click Yes
  13. Your device will restart 1 or more times during the Auto-Provisioning Process.During this time the lights on your device will go blank / blink. When the device is ready, the Line1 indicator light should be solid Green and your Extension number will display on the LCD next to the Line 1 button

Step 4 – Obtain Device MAC

  1. Press Menu button on right-side of phone.
  2. Press 2 for Status
  3. Press 2 for Network
  4. Press 2 for Ethernet
  5. Note the value of “MAC”: _____________________
    i.e. 00:04:F1:2A:3B:4C
  6. (provide this information to One40 Support Team to authorize your device on your account)

Step 5 – Obtain Device Serial Number (SN)

  1. Press Menu button on right-side of phone.
  2. Press 2 for Status
  3. Press 1 for Platform
  4. Press 1 for Phone
  5. Note the value of “S/N”: _____________________

  6. (provide this information to One40 Support Team to authorize your device on your account)

Step 6 – Place a test call.  

  1. Place test call to an “Off-Network” number to confirm calls complete.
  2. Place test call to an “On-Network” number such as another Employees Extension.
